An attack on Wednesday morning by the Sri Lankan government army (SLA) on Tamil targets creates fears in Denmark that several children have been killed in a Danish-run orphanage.
The orphanage is run by Tamils in Sønderborg and receives financial support from Danfoss, among others. 27 of the orphanage's children have Danish sponsors, says the chairman of the Sønderborg branch of the Tamil Rehabilitation Organization (TRO), Maheshan Thevajah.
